Regional Sourcing Manager Well Drilling Products(WDP) South East Asia

Areas of responsibility:

• Develop a multi-source chemical product portfolio in-line with WDP strategy by establishing long-term contracts with external suppliers
• Establish an efficient procurement strategy through our Sourcing Departments located in China, India, Europe and Americas.
• Coordination of in-house product testing and qualification, purchasing, contractual /legal framingtowards final internal sales.
• Operational responsibility to select and develop new suppliers in line with Sourcing Dept. and Company policy.
• Initiate, evaluate, verify and present continuous development and optimisation of new sources in close cooperation with R&D, Regional Sourcing dept. and Sales.
• Support other business areas in Materials and divisions in when requested
• Key success factor will be the positions capability to participate in activities and communications with the WDP business team as if an integral member of the team.
• Ensure that HSE and CSR standards and policies are met.

Position will be Singapore based – A national staff salary will be offered in the range of SGD 12K to 15K per month, depending on experience. Any nationality considered.
Minimum education requirement is a recognised technical degree (engineering or chemistry based);Bachelor or Master is fine.
The CRITICAL issue for us is the need for prior oilfield experience. The candidate must know the oilfield chemical industry, preferably in either Drilling or related production fields.
The post will require up to 50% travel.
Singapore staff position. Gender Male or Female : no preference.

The position reports to the Global Sourcing Director of Materials, based in Europe and will require extensive regional travel.

Prior Oil field Drilling / Chemical related work experience is MANDATORY ? minimum 3 years experience.
