Compensation and Benefits Analyst (temporary contract)
Location: Dubai – United Arab Emirates
The Compensation and Benefits Analyst supports the compensation and benefits manager to ensure all compensation and benefits are; compliant with corporate compensation principles, policies and guidelines, competitive in the marketplace, and conform to local legal and fiscal regulations. This position is temporary, with an initial six-month contract.
Successful compensation and benefits analysts are quick learners who enjoy challenges. They show initiative and have strong analytical and communication skills. They are mobile and open to new ideas and locations as they can be assigned to duties elsewhere.
Analyzes, recommends and obtains approval for changes to compensation and benefits at national level.
Assists in the development of local policies and procedures.
Ensures benefits are in-line with the existing market and consistent with corporate guidelines and government regulations.
Participates in reviews to monitor and maintain market positioning, and in local market surveys.
Answers employee queries and co-ordinates compensation and benefits communications to employees and the HR community.
Prepares compensation packages and assignment letters, explains package components to employees and management.
Assist in job evaluations, participates in salary surveys, and builds current salary structures.
Assists personnel managers with the annual merit process.
Monitors all changes to statutory requirements.
Owns and maintains the benefits management system and co-ordinates with local benefits owner.
Assist in the management of services through discussions with plan administrators and carriers.
May assist in the billing and payment process with co-operation from finance.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
HR Diploma is an advantage.
Up to two years’ relevant HR experience.
