Lubricant Technical Advisor
Beijing/Shanghai, China

You’ll use your expertise to provide technical support to our Sales, Marketing and Line of Business teams, especially during the launch of new products. You’ll provide product application training and give advice on HSE, occupational health and safe product disposal, which means keeping up with changes in legislation. When you’re not briefing teams or solving customer application problems, you’ll prepare customer equipment audits, lubricant surveys and product rationalisations, as well as conducting field trials. It’s key role that involves working closely with product application specialists and providing innovative solutions to issues.
To make the grade, you’ll need experience in one of the following fields: power, chemical engineering or technical lubricants. You’ll be familiar with industrial equipment and qualified to degree-level (or equivalent) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or a similar subject). Analytical and an exceptional problem solver, you’ve got the communication skills to deal with people and express yourself clearly.
