Mine Surveyor
(Kalimantan Selatan)

Responsibilities:
* Carry out general daily mine survey functions, including: blast block mark ups; monitoring of bench and floor levels; recording of drill sampling positions; monitoring of geotechnical parameters for mining and civil slopes and structures and monitoring of seawall turbidity.
* Liaise with Mine Superintendent and Mine Supervisors to ensure production requirements are met.
* Provide technical assistance to the Drill and Blast Team including the demarcation of toe and crest lines.
* Conduct monthly volume calculations for pits, seawall and stockpiles and report to Senior Mine Surveyor / Manager Mining.
* Ensure survey control is maintained and is auditable.
* Monitor road, stockpile and waste dump developments as required, and report any required actions to the Senior Mine surveyor / Manager Mining.
* Ensure mining activities conform to the current pit and seawall designs, and report any required actions to the Senior Mine Surveyor / Manager Mining.
* Mark-out and monitor clearing and rehabilitation operations in accordance with the mine management plan and the mine closure plan under the direction of the Senior Mine Surveyor / Manager Mining.

Requirements:
* Position Requirement:
o Willing to be placed in South Kalimantan
o Minimum Diploma in Mining Engineering
o Minimum 1 year experience in open pit operation
o Having some practical knowledge, experience and contact in the construction, mining, or similar industry
o Computer skills in Surpac, Arcview, word processing and spreadsheets
o Able to operate all surveyor equipment
o Ability to conduct audit procedures
o Ability to read and interpret legislation and standards
o Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
o Basic knowledge of mining terminology and techniques

o Good command of the English language, both written and oral

o Good leadership and organisational skills
o Mature and professional approach to all matters

Mine Engineer
(Kalimantan Selatan)

Responsibilities:
* Undertake operational assessment projects as outlined by the Site Superintendent, including production performance reviews.
* Apply mine design methods and software to design and schedule mining projects (monthly), including acquisition and application of mine planning software.
* Manage the performance of sub-contractors, including resolution of issues, as measured by compliance to contractor agreements and the handling of progress claims
* Initiate, implement and monitor improvements to production efficiency, safety and environmental performance
* Monitoring short term and long term planning in site.
* Provide monthly production/cost reports in a timely manner as measured by accuracy and compliance to reporting standards templates
* Regularly audit all production activities against the production plan and contract specifications, and make recommendations for remedial action as appropriate.
* Develop and apply spreadsheet software methods to evaluate projects or specific tasks.
* Assist with project implementation matters as required.
* Report all matters involving disciplinary action to the Mine Superintendent.
* Provide engineering support to Mine Superintendent.

Requirements:
* Position Requirement:
o Willing to be placed in South Kalimantan
o Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
o Minimum 1 year experience as Mine Engineer
o Able to operate mining software (minescape, minex, etc.)
o Proficient computer skills, including MS Excel and Project, and company purchasing system (JDE)

o Good command of the English language, both oral and written
