Business Development Manager – Oil and Gas – (EPC) Based in Jakarta, Indonesia

Our client is a leading EPC company specialists engaged in engineering design, procurement, construction and project management of petrochemical, coal-to-chemicals and refining plants.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and pursing new opportunities for the purpose promoting and marketing the Oil and Gas EPC business to the various Oil and Gas majors. You will lead the bid process at the front end, building exclusive client relationships with service companies and operators throughout Indonesia.

Requirements
* Engineering qualification preferably with a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
* Min. 5 years experience in Business Development function. Experience in oil and gas sector preferably.
* Exceptional customer awareness and sales skills in the business development and marketing aspects in the oil and gas industry with ability to market EPC to the various oil companies.
* Techno commercial skills to be able to deal with contractual and financial conditions in bids.
* Excellent Networking skills. Strong presentation skills

Key Responsibilities
* Set up office in Indonesia
* Maximize contact with key accounts, key contacts and other critical people at various client organizations and focus efforts to obtain new work and generation of new enquiries for the business
* Ensure prequalification of the organization with existing and potential customers, to enable us to be in a position to bid for projects within our sphere of capabilities.
* To ensure that the enquiries are screened and to determine a sales strategy, risk identification, profit potential and analysis, and to ensure communication of customer needs and expectations.
* Foster and develop positive customer relationships which result in increased business. Understand customer needs and assist in the development of project solutions that satisfy those requirements and provide opportunities for the client
* Provide inputs to management based on market information to enable the organization to develop capability in areas to give us strategic leverage for future projects.
* Produce technical and commercial proposals for internal and external clients
* Continue development of systems, procedures and work practices for the execution of Business Development.
* Provide weekly and monthly reports on current and future business development
* Review pricing approval requests prior to submission for senior management review
Interface with the project management and engineering leadership teams
