Solomon Islands – Project Geologist

A vacancy currently exists for a Project Geologist, to join our Solomon Island team and be involved in exploration activities, which lead to significant gold-copper discoveries. You will be given the autonomy and scope to manage your own projects and be involved in a wide variety of tasks include people management, planning and coordinating and working with the local communities in a proactive and socially responsible way.

This role will springboard your career as a geologist. You will be working in an extremely challenging terrine and will be faced with complex challenges on a daily basis. You will also be working for a global mining leader, which will give you visibility to the next step in your career development. You will be surrounded be a team of expertise geologists, so the opportunity to learn will be significant.

This position will require personal flexibility in regards to travel to the Solomon Islands. The FIFO roster offers some flexibility and you will be generously compensated for efforts.
