Facility Engineer – Mechanical & Rotating Engineering

The Facility Engineer is a member of Chevron’s Facility Engineering and maintenance team. The FE provides mechanical and rotational engineering support to offshore crews specific to day-to-day operations. As a Facility Engineer, you are also responsible for initiating and implementing modifications and upgrades to operating offshore platforms. This includes feasibility studies, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning and start-up. You provide input to keep Preventive Maintenance & Inspections programs current and act as discipline expert towards other facility engineers. You will grow into the role of responsible Facility Engineer for one or more platforms, where you will be responsible for all engineering and trouble shooting of assigned platform(s).

Successful candidates have a minimum BSc/HTS degree in mechanical engineering. You have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated relevant work experience in operations of oil & gas, refineries, chemical plants or power plants and preferably a back ground in equipment manufacturing. You have strong project management skills and a good command of the Dutch and English language.
